Mr. Williams is former President of the nationally known and highly regarded New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation. In his capacity, its demands required this past President to interface with major and nationally known performing artists as the late Grover Washington, Jonathan Butler, Natalie Cole, Peabo Bryson, Stephanie Mills and a bevy of additional artists that catered to this major festival of festivals. Moving forward as entrepreneur, Mr. Williams initiated his own production company and subsequently booked numerous national tours featuring an array of international artists. Maintaining oversight of his staff for talent procurement, marketing, advertising and routing, another component was added, namely his wide ranging concert partnership promotions.
Community leadership was an adjunct to “Pull up and Give back” actions and ethic. The former school teacher, ascended into the education of hundreds of youths on a “grass roots level” which gave birth to him formulating major educational programs in collaboration and sponsored by private foundations as well as city, state and federal government agencies. Mr. Williams taught and shared with the youth within the programs, entertainment and concert lessons.
Dan Williams developed and engaged in promotion of a major touring soul food festival as well as a Jazz Journey Series in conjunction with The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation of which he was past President. The culmination of his career saw him attending the nations White House in which he joined the company of the then President of the United States, Bill Clinton on behalf of the International Jazz Program. He still maintains a relationship with many high profile artists as well as those on the cusp of stardom, like Bluenote recording vocalist, Gregory Porter.
Dan was able to bring his gift full circle by creating many flagship cultural projects to fruition, namely: The “Golden Nugget” Lundy Gras Festival for the Zulu Social Air & Pleasure Club, the International Cultural Exchanges with the Chicago Gospel Festival, Chicago Jazz Festival, Ravinia Jazz Festival, Johannesburg South Africa “Joy of Jazz” and Kingston, Jamaica School of Art Exhibition as well as the Jamaican National Dance Company.

Conceived and launched the biggest event in the history of Black America, the “Black Expo”. Emanating from New York with Pepsi Cola as title sponsor. Mr. Roebuck subsequently garnered the sponsorship of Coca-Cola. He saw the innovative need of a vehicle to let the African American consumer know what products were targeted to them specifically. Representatives and booths from the FBI to rap labels like Def Jam stood side by side with folks lingering, purchasing from over 400 booths. Other major corporations like Toyota, Lorillard, Reebok, Citi bank and others saw the dire need for a booth. The sellout consumer show at The Javits Center included cultural enhancement, entertainment, new innovative products and garnered over 3 million attendees during the tenure of its national tour of major US cities. All this minus advanced computer technology and social media which was non-existent at that time.
Mr. Roebuck is also credited with the strategic and financial growth of TV’s Tony Brown Journal, the longest running program in PBS history as its advertising rep and media consultant, an outgrowth of his garnering new sponsors, i.e. Toyota, Wal-Mart, Texaco and others, which infused the TV station with millions of dollars in additional gross income. Mr. Roebuck is presently living and working in Florida and New York City.

A recording artist manager with his first recording signee being Salt n’ Pepa and their producer/writer/ founder Herby “Lovebug” Azor. Mr. Sanders went on to manage the likes of preeminent violinist Noel Pointer, The Main Ingredient, Friends of Distinction, and Jimmy Castor. Developed the successful career of Yanni’s “Lady in Red” violinist virtuoso Karen Briggs whom he secured touring opportunities with flamenco artist Benise. His production company garnered several recording deals from Polygram, Shanachie, Readers Digest (private recording division) for The Stylistics and a separate lucrative artist development deal from Epic/Sony.
His production client base included, New York radio station WBLS-FM, UNCF (United College Fund/Kool & The Gang Concert) and ABC-TV employees union soiree at the legendary Studio 54 and Xenon.
Mr. Sanders also co-produced a series of hip-hop configured high school basketball games in conjunction with ELMCOR, a New York community organization also co-sponsored by KISS-FM and the NBA (National Basketball Association). As concert promoter his self-financed productions included concerts by Larry Graham, Clark Sisters, The Commodores amongst others. Include his indie productions with famed radio and TV personality Frankie Crocker. Winstons’ sports involvement led him to a tenure with boxing promoter Don King and Lou Duva as a fight manager for heavyweight contender Elijah Tillery and a small stable of boxers.
In the late 80’s he partnered with Jerry Roebuck and was instrumental in launching The New York Black Expo which eventually expanded to 21 additional expo convention sites with title sponsor Coca-Cola leading the way. He was successful in obtaining sponsorships from Citibank and Reebok. Currently based in Las Vegas, Mr. Sanders completed a 1-1/2 year contract with Vegas’ Station Casinos for a weekly live band showcase.
A multi-faceted force within the performing arts, via touring theatre, co-joining concert production and artist management. As CEO and minority owner of Unlimited Entertainment, Mr. Tarver along with two associates became the pioneers of the famed Chitlin’ Circuit of plays, both dramatic and gospel, introducing highly successful live sold out stage plays to the southern masses.
Also as a burgeoning concert promoter the opportunity arose for him to become the artist Manager of the highly regarded R&B group, Con-Funk-Shun and eventually the seat filling manager of Frankie Beverly and Maze.
As niche marketer and performing artist innovator, Nate leveraged and developed the High School Band competition, presenting a minimum of 10 shows per year across the United States in cities as Tampa, Memphis, Houston, Philadelphia, Birmingham, Houston and others. The money raised provided recruitment opportunities and scholarships for aspiring musicians and more importantly college band directors.
All of his major concert presentations are too numerous to list. Notable tour involvement as promoter and/or producer of headline acts include: Barry White, Chaka Khan Tours, The Zydeco Blues and Cajun Festival, Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams & Fred Hammond Gospel Tour, Prince Tour, Hit Men of Comedy Tour, The Mary Tour (featuring Mary J. Blige, Jagged Edge & Carl Thomas).
A sports manager of two legendary African American PGA golf icons namely Lee Elder and the late Calvin Peete. Arthur brings over 40 plus years of sports entertainment experience to the Black Spirit Group Sports Division. Sports history supports Arthur as a strong supporter of the pioneering Hall of Fame golfer Charlie Sifford who singlehandedly fought and won the battle for inclusion of the African American golfer within the ranks of the PGA (Professional Golf Association).
As concert entrepreneur, Arthur dates back to having promoted the rollout of the late Teddy Pendergrass’ first shows. He continues to maintain promoting and producing todays “hot” icons like Alicia Keys, as well as co-promotion with Jeff Sharp and entertainment giant AEG. Mr. Johnson also interfaced with current NBC, Spike, Fox and ESPN/TV Promoter extraordinaire Al Haymon of Premier Boxing. These two partnered with Leonard Rowe, when he and Haymon met success as Budweiser SuperFest concert promoter(s) at a sports stadium in Atlanta. Prior to his involvement with SuperFest, and while co-producing the Luther Vandross tour he had the vision and the foresight to book a fantastic replacement for Cheryl Lynn, her name: Whitney Houston! Arthur Johnson also boasts former co-ownership of radio station WWLO in Gainsville Florida which he subsequently sold. He’s extensively active in the sports and entertainment arena. Based in Florida his concert and sports tentacles reach several states.
